What Accountants Want Most

I’m shooting this one on the road from Jasper, right after wrapping up two speaking events with groups of CPA firm owners.

There was one moment that really stood out:
When I asked who wanted more money, a few hands went up.
Who wanted better clients? A few more.
But when I asked who wanted more time?
Every single hand in the room went up.

Freedom of time is the #1 thing accountants want, more than anything else.

But here’s the warning:
If you make things faster and easier (with AI, automation, or better systems) but keep positioning and pricing the same… you’ll just end up doing more work for the same money.
